Debra Hirschi, a Senior Tax Manager with over 30 years of experience, enjoys ''assisting a wide variety of individual and business clients.'' Debbie also enjoys assisting clients through business consulting, estate planning, and trust administration. Some of Debbie's day-to-day tasks include cash budgeting, retirement planning, business succession planning and estate planning for individuals and businesses.

Mandi Alt, Senior Manager in the Tax department, describes Martin Hood as ''a fantastic place to work.'' Mandi graduated with highest honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 1998. She received the Bronze Tablet award for academic excellence, and was recognized for scoring in the top 3% nationally on the May 1998 Certified Public Accountants Exam. Since joining the firm in 1998, Mandi has served clients in many industries, including non-profit organizations, governmental units, small businesses and individuals. ''I get a lot of satisfaction by serving clients who are all over the world as well as local businesses that are fixtures in our community,'' states Nick Vogel, a Senior Manager in the Tax department. Nick graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and in 2006 he obtained a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Denver. Nick specializes in the complex areas of local, state, and international taxation. ''It is my goal to take the stress and confusion out of the tax preparation process for my clients.''
A member of the Tax Management team, Dae-Woung Kang notes, ''in the midst of getting work done, relationships are being built at Martin Hood.'' Dae-Woung graduated from the University of Illinois in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance. His main responsibilities include planning, preparation and review of individual, business, and non-profit tax returns. He also works with non-profit clients regarding tax compliance issues, including establishing/qualifying for, maintaining and regaining tax exempt status. Dae-Woung notes, ''because of the positive environment at Martin Hood, everyone is motivated and ready to help our clients.''
''Helping clients work through complex tax issues is one of the most rewarding parts of my job,'' notes Regan Frazier, who has been with Martin Hood since 2011. Regan graduated with High Honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2009. She spends much of her time preparing tax returns and performing tax planning for individuals and a variety of businesses. Bryan James, Manager, appreciates the collaborative and supportive environment at the firm. Bryan graduated from Illinois State University in 2008 and earned a Masters of Accounting Science from ISU in 2009. Bryan also prepares tax returns for individuals and corporations, and serves as a member of the Martin Hood recruiting team.

Chris states, “As a member of the Martin Hood team, I have been able to pursue my passion in serving our clients to the fullest and supporting their financial goals.”
